Kerry Businesswomen’s Network

It’s time to launch Kerry Businesswomen’s Network!  We will be having a party to celebrate at Manor West Hotel, Tralee, County Kerry, on Thursday 23rd July at 6.30 pm.  Tickets are €15 per person and must be booked in advance.  Everyone is welcome – help us to celebrate with canapes, entertainment and spot prizes.

Membership of the network is open to any woman in any business in Kerry (or doing business in Kerry).  We hope also to welcome women from the public sector and voluntary and community organisations, as we all link with each other and benefit mutually from meeting and networking.  Membership for the first year (from 1st September) is €75 per person, but join by the end of August and pay only €65.  There will be at least six meetings a year and many more benefits including discounts, entry in a directory and guest tickets.

For more information, e-mail kerrynetworks@gmail.com (and mention this blog!).

“To help aspiring entrepreneurs get a fresh start in today’s challenging economic environment, we will be giving away €50,000 worth of our best-selling Business Plan Pro Premier (RRP €145) software to Irish entrepreneurs.”

The software will be available on the company’s Irish website (www.paloalto.ie) on Wednesday 15th July for one day only.  A full copy of Business Plan Pro Premier Edition will be sent to the first 345 qualifying applicants.  Palo Alto will be reviewing information provided by applicants to ensure that the software is given to newly unemployed people who will genuinely use the planning software to get their idea off the ground.

Kerry Enterprise Network

Kerry Enterprise Network will meet on Monday 20th July at Manor West Hotel, Tralee, County Kerry, 7 for 7.30 pm.  This is a Speed Networking event and is open to everyone in business in Kerry (and anyone who does business in Kerry).  There is no charge for participation.

Bring lots of business cards, marketing material etc.  You will have the chance to promote your business many times over.  At the last similar event, 40 people attended, so that’s a minimum of 20 other business people with whom you can use your 90-second elevator pitch to talk about your business and find out how you might be able to help each “partner”.  Of course, you will also be listening for 90 seconds to your partner in each pair.  Practise your elevator pitch – we hope for even more participants this time!

Please BOOK  for this event by contacting Anne Kiely on 085 716 3762 or kerrynetworks@gmail.com.

Kerry Enterprise Network is a business support provided by Kerry County Enterprise Board.
